February through May Mark Allor Powell will show selected pieces of work in one of Mexico City's best museums - right next to the Templo Mayor!

We had a great time at Workshop 4. We met new friends from Texas and Istanbul. It was a great shooting experience even though the weather wasn't that spectacular.

The Weather
One of the reasons we choose a destination is based upon climate. While there is a rainy season - when it may downpour for 15-30 minutes in the afternoon and then clear up. - we do enjoy a very comfortable climate.

The museum opened in June of 2009 across from the site of the Templo Mayor in Mexico City's Centro Historico. Mark introduced me to the Museum Director, Estela Treviño - a bright and energetic person with a drive to care and share the found contents; the vast collection of images from Mexico City's historical past, discovered in a federal building storage room - now appropriately housed in this ample and beautiful space.
